Our adoptable hounds are all ages, colors, both genders, sizes and personalities. Each was rescued from a precarious situation and required rehabilitation and medical care. Some have special needs and will require just the right situation and an experienced sighthound owner. All dogs are vaccinated, chipped and neutered.

Blanca is the first to volunteer for a hiking adventure, truck ride, or human snuggles. We don’t always have Podencos that can be an only dog, but this gal can.

Henton is trying so hard to overcome his fears and learn to trust humans. A gentle sweet soul, with a kind heart, we look forward to the day we see him snuggled up on a couch, head resting on a stuffie, content knowing he is well and truly home. Like many Podencos, Henton’s experience before arriving to Mandy’s Rescue Dogs wasn’t a stay at the Ritz. He blossoms more each day, enjoys the company of other dogs, including his small friend Yama.
