Our adoptable hounds are all ages, colors, both genders, sizes and personalities. Each was rescued from a precarious situation and required rehabilitation and medical care. Some have special needs and will require just the right situation and an experienced sighthound owner. All dogs are vaccinated, chipped and neutered. 

Anton

  • LOOKING FOR: A home with his bestie Nelli so he can continue to be bossed around by the little diva, but if not Nelli then Anton absolutely needs another large dog companion (no offense tea cup hounds or hermit crabs, but you won’t do as his only companions). Anton will flourish with people who understand he is young, requires daily snuggles and kisses and has just had is life uprooted and needs time to unwind and discover all the joys that come with a new life. A yard with six foot fences is a must.
  • ADDITIONAL INFO:  Anton is a happy, energetic, loving boy. He is curious, enthusiastic, and loves deeply. He is sociable with other dogs, male and female, he is working on house training and doing great, and sleeps through the night like a champ, currently on the bed of his loving foster humans. He has the most darling polka dot ears and has perfected the art of sleep roaching. Anton also enjoys watching agility on TV and riding in the car.

  • LOOKING FOR: Nelli really wants a family and life she can count on, one that is consistent, and steady. We would prefer if she could find a home with her bestie Anton, as he provides the support and loyalty she hasn’t experienced from very many humans. She will only be homed with another kind, steady dog, who is willing to be her friend and caring companion. 
  • ADDITIONAL INFO:  Nelli is a little jewel, as sweet as she is beautiful. Her emotional awareness runs deep, and she is sensitive to the environment around her. She will do best in a grounded house that is not filled with chaos and mayhem, unless she’s the one creating it for fun. She has a wonderfully cheeky side and loves to boss Anton around like any self respecting diva would. She gets along well with other dogs, male and female, has done great with house training in her foster home, and sleeps like a champ through the night, but needs some security snuggles to settle in.

  • LOOKING FOR: Jade is looking to spend the last chapter of her life in total contentment. She wants a chill family who will dote on her and make up for the lost years she spent doing the bidding of humans. She is looking for a soft bed, good food, kind hands, adoration, and a human who understands a life well lived is about quality not quantity.
  • ADDITIONAL INFO: Jade is the most spectacular senior Podenco in the entire world. She is pretty much the unicorn of seniors. Who knows what her life was like before arriving into rescue, she probably had a lot of babies, our guess is she was a badass in her youth, and that the same confidence and prowess that allowed her to survive into double digit years has aged into a well adjusted, wise, easy, take life as it comes senior who knows how to dog. She walks with a little prance in her step and appreciates the value of a good ray of sun. She is laid back with elevators, card rides, other dogs, crabby dogs, late nights, early mornings, Starbucks drive throughs, and LAX travelers. She’s a dog we’d break our 8 dog rule for if she wasn’t in Oregon.
